Email marketing is unquestionably one of the most profitable ways to make money online. However I feel it's worth pointing out that you shouldn't necessarily jump to the conclusion that the more emails you send, the more money you will make, because this is not necessarily the case.

Although some marketers do send email messages every single day, or even several times a day in some cases, in my experience it's much better to send emails less frequently. The main reason being that people will quickly unsubscribe from your list if you send them too many messages so you will have to work exceptionally hard just to replenish your list, never mind grow it.

Furthermore even if you do decide to send out messages every day, for instance, you will quickly discover how difficult it is to create emails that will continue to inform and educate your subscribers. Unless you are in a newsworthy niche such as the stock market investing or forex trading niche, for instance, where the markets are changing every single day, it's going to be very difficult to come up with regular content for your subscribers.

So as I say it's generally more productive to focus all of your efforts into sending say one or two email messages a week. That way people will be more inclined to read all of your emails, which in turn will most likely lead to increased sales. Furthermore this gives you more time to create your own products, research some affiliate products that may be of interest to your subscribers, and create good quality content that your subscribers will find useful.

It should also be pointed out that once you start building a list and sending out regular emails, you should maintain this contact for the foreseeable future. This is because if you neglect your list and stop sending out messages for several weeks or months, then your subscribers will forget about you. Therefore when you start start sending out emails again, your open rates are likely to be very low because many people will have forgotten who you are and worse still, they may even accuse you of being a spammer if they don't recognise your name.

So the ideal email marketing strategy is to keep in touch with your subscribers regularly so people learn all about you and your business and start to trust you. However at the same time you should also avoid sending out too many messages because this will simply encourage people to either ignore your emails or to unsubscribe from your list completely.
